Dom Bede Camm

Dom Bede Camm, O.S.B. (1864–1942), was an English Benedictine monk, martyrologist, and author renowned for his scholarship on English Catholic martyrs and dedication to preserving their memory in Victorian England. Originally ordained in the Anglican Church before converting to Catholicism at Maredsous Abbey, Camm went on to join Erdington and later Downside Abbey, serving as priest, author, military chaplain in World War I, and Master of St Benet’s Hall at Cambridge.
